A whole lot of new Botbots at Eastgate Warehouse, including some Series 2 packs, some Series 3 packs and some Series 4 blindbags. One of the packs had Quackles the Rubber Ducky in it and although I took him home with me I didn't look through all of them so there may be others there with him in.

Studio Series Skipjack (Yellow Rampage redeco) and Blitzwing at Toy World Tower Junction. They had Topspin and Soundwave deluves as well and a Leader DOTM Megatron. Nothing new in the Earthrise department however but there are a whole lot of $100 Jetfires if anyone still needs one.

I want Blitzwing .. we are down to two toy stores here in Dunedin, so online is how I need to shop now.

A bunch of Studio Series Blitzwings at Farmers Riccarton as well as some Skipjacks and a Scrapper currently buy one get one half price. Also at least one Studio Series Cliffjumper at the Warehouse Barrington. No sign of any Judges or Astro Squads anywhere in sight.

The Astro Squad and Race Track Patrol have finally made landfall in Christchurch, in this case at Toyworld Tower Junction. No sign of Slitherfang or Rung yet however.

NETFLIX Transformers War for Cybertron Trilogy Spoiler Pack #2 at Toy World Tower Junction. No other Netflix figures there and nothing else new other than the Earthrise MicroMaster Wave 2s they had from a few weeks back.

KMart Papanui haven't restocked their Transformers to the point where they've basically removed the TF section altogether and there are 2 pegs, one with a single Cyberverse western-looking cowboy dude whose name I've forgotten and a bunch of Cyberverse Scouts. Not much help when they're the only carrier of Netflix Bumblebee if the store won't stock it.

Warehouse South City has no Earthrise dekuxes at all, the shelf instead filled with Cyberverse gimmickformers that won't sell in a month of Sundays. Belfast at least had some Earthrise deluxee, but they were all wave 1.

Transformers collecting in Christchurch has become an absolute crapshoot. I remember buying
Earthrise Wave 1 figures here before the Covid stuff even started, and here we are at the end of the year still stuck at wave 1 in literally everything but the Micromasters where we're at wave 2 in a couple of places. I thought we couldn't get any worse after Siege's distribution disaster and yet they continue to surprise me. At this point I'm thinking we'll be lucky if we see any Kingdom figures down here at all. I understand that the situation is slightly less dire in other parts of the country, but collecting TFs in Christchurch has become like collecting penguins in the Congo.

At least Studio Series is kept mostly up to date, but that's little comfort in the end when you've already ordered the ones you want online because you didn't think they'd show up locally since the other figures you wanted never did.

Yep it has, I live in the middle of nowhere so I always use the online store checkers for products and then ring in to see if they have what I want and 99% of the time they do not. The Warehouse seems to have really weird allocation for things coz I end up ringing all of them and only one has actually received items I'm after from the shared code they've used online and often they receive all of them and none of the others under the same code.

I took to ordering most things off Mighty Ape or ToyCo if I could and hoping they'd come in. EB Games has gone into time travel, either things are to be released later or they were released months ago and they have no idea if the preorder filled or not or when it will come coz the dates shift forwards and backwards in time.

EB are terrible with this stuff, I've only attempted pre-ordering that sorta stuff with them twice and twice they just never got the product and I ended up cancelling because I found it elsewhere in the meantime while EB were still like ...*shrugs*...

Unless its like a game or amiibo or something with a hard release date they have no clue when they'll ever get anything. I guess not much different than our other useless regular stores but I dunno, when the store advertises PRE-ORDER NOW! GIVE US MONEY! constantly for more and more stuff and they haven't even managed to produce the previous thing they were offering, shit gets annoying.

Some 86 Studio Series stuff at Toy World Tower Junction. Unfortunately they only had one Scourge left who came home with me, but there were 3 Blurrs left when I left. Deluxe Toy World prices of course, but they are there. Might be worth calling Hornby and/or Marshland if you're looking for Scourge or any of the others; if Tower Junction had them those Toy Worlds probably do/did as well.

Kingdom Deluxe Wave 1 at South City Warehouse. Unfortunately no Cores, Voyagers or Leaders. EDIT: I also checked Blenheim Road and they had some of the Cores, but they only had one Vertebreak left when I left.

Kingdom Voyagers and leaders at toyworld Tower Junction. They still had both of each as of this morning... More Primals than Cyclonuses though. And I picked up a beast Megs while I was there but still had 2 of those and 3 primes there. Also a bunch of ghost busters crossover ectotrons there
