Re: Power Of The Primes
I am really going to miss the small extra attention to detail (painted headmasters for one) that Takara offered over Hasbro.
The only benefit for me of the Takara over Hasbro is fixed release dates and no assortments - meaning it may be slightly easier to obtain some of the items (due to Hasbro NZ missing some assortments and having to import sets)

NOOOOOOO
I've been watching the reviews of the Hasbro toys and hate the stickers that they have introduced ... please Takara, don't abandon paint!

Re: Power Of The Primes
I'm still going to optimistically wait and see what the final released takara figures look like (we'll, just Rodimus really) before jumping the gun. I'm only really in this line for Terrorcons, Rodimus, and the legends.
I do hope the stickers on voyagers and leaders phase passes, because they are truly terrible.

Hmm, a tad torn on this. They shouldn't have individual 'bot modes! Like the concept though.

Man, that is so cool. Hopefully they do a Flywheels.
Re: Power Of The Primes
Duocons are great. Flywheels is definitely on the cards.
My only gripe is I wish the helicopter part was Grey instead of white, but whatevz. Duocons!

So there we go, no unite warriors dinobots set up for us, though I'm not giving up hope for those of us that want a little more, there is still a chance of a sdcc exclusive

That Battletrap pair looks great, hopefully a theoretical Flywheels keeps the same connection point for some pants and shirt mix and match goodness.
You know they could do a pretty nice M.A.S.K homage with a Jackhammer and Switchblade set. And for the theoretical Flywheels, a GI JOE Mobat/Mauler and Skystriker/whatever repaint.

Off topic, but it never occurred to me to look to MASK for options for TF homages to other lines. Brilliant idea sir! Now I have concepts for all manner of Hasbro and Kenner 80's brands TF homages beyond the standard G.I. Joe crossovers that I've always wanted but have never really been made good on. A MASK homage combiner vs a Sky Commanders homage combiner... if only I had an ounce of artistic talent to make such things a reality!
Back on topic, I like the Battletrap pair and agree that a Flywheels pair would be cool. Wouldn't mind seeing them take the basic engineering and do a couple of Duobots as well.

wave 2 up at BBTS now i shouldnt have to say this but im going to if you want rodimus unicronus dont wait for new zealand retail we have a really bad track record at this point with leader class toys, also if you in a hurry to complete the dinobots dont hold back because its likely to be august before we see wave 2, though in this case i do like being wrong lol
