Amazing photo. When I see pictures of aurora I always get a totally sci-fi feeling. One of nature's wonders that seems out of this world.

Love the shot but for some reason I'm reminded of the scene in Mars Attacks with the flaming herd of cattle running down the highway.

Found my camera was filling up with photos of the cat... so... with my wife's birthday on Friday I bought her a Canon EOS M3... little bit lighter than a full DSLR and with the adapter that I also bought she can use my lenses freely. I know there are better mirrorless cameras but the lens thing is quite a big deal for me.

I'll chuck a few up here from my travels through Europe this year.

I really don't bother with the DSLRs - love the photos you can get, but really don't want to deal with the bulk and weight.

Went to Yokosuka for one day of our 3 day weekend. Quite an interesting place, with a huge American influence as a result of the naval base situated there.

Aw man these travel snaps are cool.
Currently planning a trip to Japan. Can't wait to snap some shots abroad.

Tried my hand at a Panorama last night:

I wish I got to see that, and had the talent to take a great photo like that Ironhidetfx.

Love looking at the pics people here have taken.

Took this pic last night... Tamron 300mm lens... Full zoom... Was still quite small so I blew it up on my iPhone and was stoked to see so much detail on the moon. From my bedroom window though so there is unfortunately the blur of a powerline across the face.

Resurrecting an old topic.

Anyone in this thread ever purchased lenses from overseas?

Need an FE Prime lens for travel, but no one stocks it, and Sonys website is well overpriced.
Just looking at options.
