Dragonball Super thoughts

Postby Nero » Mon Oct 26, 2015 8:33 pm

Really enjoying DBS, especially with all the extra humour. Loving how they are finally beginning to flesh out Vegeta more with his family man side and even a bit more of his insecurities about being weaker.

Also those fight scenes WOW! Goku is a super genius when he fights.

What are you all enjoying about it?

I thought it was just the two movies being cut up into episodes. Is it not?

Kind of at this stage, its those as arcs but with more explanation and things have been swapped around.

I would definitely recommend, the first movies arc has just finished after 15 episodes

Loving the show, kinda wish they'd pick up the pace and get me more content vs what was in the movies, but also really enjoying the slice of life segments and general silly DBZ humor.

Being able to load up a brand new DBZ episode on the TV during the days off just feels -superb-.

Last weeks episode was quite enjoyable, Im really liking the extra details and explanations were getting to fill in between and around the movies. Some of it is a bit slow paced but think theyve been given a 100 episode allocation so Im more than happy with whatever we get given.

The extra humor scenes are great too.

Looking forward to the next arc starting up and gettting more info on ss blue

Just Japanese for now, no news on when or if a dub will turn up. It took awhile but Ive gotten used to the voices and will be great when dub comes out as I can watch it all over again :D

Were now into the 'resurection of f' movie arc, looking forward to see how they explain things more and what they add.

Even more excited to see what comes next once theyve run out of that.

Having Dragon Ball back each week tugs at the nostalgia pretty hard, its great

In case anyone has fallen off the watching it religiously bandwaggon, they are currently 2 episodes into the new arc so finaally getting completely new content not just re edits of the movies.

Really enjoying the humor and looking forward to the tournament to catch goku, vegeta and anyone else show us why we love dragon ball so much

Really looking forward to seeing what this new arc will entail.

The tournament was very cool, some interesting fights and techniques coming through.

Love me some dragon ball, nice that Vegeta got some good screen time

and i was right the new arc is good should be fun to see where they take it but SPOILER i wounder what happend to goku to make him evil and the fact he called trunks a sayian as that was his entire focus of being there not because hes trunks makeing me think this might be another creature like baby from GT and because super takes away the events of GT as if they never happened this very well could be a possibility
