JJ's released another index card referencing just that:

A tiny* peek at what we're working on - this Friday in select theaters. Hope you enjoy, and have a most excellent Thanksgiving! Best, JJ.
*88 seconds

And a cute little doodle of a TIE fighter blasting something :-D

I'm guessing most of you have seen it by now. If not, here it is - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMOVFvcNfvE

Thoughts?

I'm liking the look of those few seconds, but it really very early to be saying more than that.

Sweet lightsaber. Far better than the prequels already, so I'm sold

There are parts I'm definitely intrigued by, some which I question and some that left me a bit 'meh'. It's not a patch on the impact the Phantom Menace first trailer (say what you will about the film itself, that first trailer was a seismic event for fans) but it really is more of a teaser at this stage than anything else. It looked nice, the effects were good quality and there's some interesting questions raised by it. I'm looking forward to where this takes us.

This. I saw ANH as the Special Edition aged 9, and ever since I devoured the movies...and remembered hearing George Lucas talking about 12 or 9 movies total. Watched the teaser twice now, and I think that's enough! The hype is a bit damaging, I think.

Second time - watched it with my fiancee. "That's it?" she said. "Well...it is a *teaser*..."

Gotta say I was excited by the voiceover (I'm a sucker for voices), the lightsaber igniting, but most of all the sound of the X-Wings and the Falcon + TIEs. Wow. 8)

Loved everything about it. Loved the sound effects + new saber especially. Next year is going to be one big year of cinema.

So. Was I the only TFNZ member watching the livestream this morning, which ended with the second teaser? : https://youtu.be/ngElkyQ6Rhs

I happened to be awake at 4.55am - pure coincidence, I assure you, but I took it to mean I should watch - and it was very enjoyable.

You're more than welcome!

There are so many things to talk about, I just can't say! Amazing. I really hope, as rumour has it, that this trailer is attached to Age of Ultron.
