Robots in Disguise
Just watched the first ep on Cartoon Network, gotta say it charmed me more than i thought.
Wasn't a fan of the art style, but its got heart. Love the light heartedness and the jokes. Think this might have potential.

Considering watching this as have just finished Prime, what does everyone think of it so far?
Soundwave superior. Autobots inferior

Prime was great. Had a decent storyline and characters, combined with amazing animation.
Robots in disguise feels a little hollow after Prime. Might pay to give it some time.
It's good in it's own way but Prime is superior in my opinion.

Bumblebee is a better Rodimus than Hot Rod was.

Rescue Bots is the show our children deserve.
I am hideously behind in terms of transformers cartoons, which is a shame because RiD looks like it'd be right up my alley. Pity about the naff toys, though.

Re: Robots in Disguise
The characters are a little too "can do", and "cool" for me... but I'll give it some time to allow their personalities to develop.
One thing this show is doing right, by me, is Decepticon character models. Its so fun to see such a variety of shapes. "Animal" robot modes are so rad, and I think something that we really haven't seen since G1.
