Went to the Warehouse at the Base today. They dont really have shit anymore, only a few deluxe movie figures, no voyagers.
Toyworld in town has a sale going, 20% off most tf stuff.
Farmers in town still has a bunch of deluxes, mostly ratchet and blackout.

Jeez...this thread has sure been pushed to the bottom of the pile!!

ANYWAY!

Visited The Warehouse tonight (central city) and saw:
8X Animated Leader Megs (looks GREAT in box...so wanted to buy one...)
1X Animated Leader Bulkhead (that little pink Headmaster looks so weird next to a chunky boys' toy!)
Several Animated Deluxe Lockdowns poked here and there, and a sprinkling of the other wave 1 deluxe characters.

I haven't even seen all of the Animated episodes that have been played, but the toys are surprisingly interesting.

Saw Ratchet and Blackarachnia at Westfield Chartwell this afternoon - they're now living at my house.

I must be the only one keeping this thread alive nowadays...oh well, no competition!! :D

Visited Farmers in Westfield today and was treated to pegs full of Wave 3 deluxes. Must have been 3-4 of each character.

Ended up grabbing Soundwave, Jazz, Snarl and eventually Oil Slick (at the insistence of my friend who believed that I should 'complete the set' - haha, if only she knew...).

Loving Jazz, as I'd expected. Only just opened the other three...new toy joy!!!!

Visited the Central Warehouse today, Universe stuff is in, grabbed Prowl and Tankor.

These are the Transformers I've been waiting for, and I can honestly say that I really like both of them. Animated has been nice and fun, but Universe is off to a much better start with solid no-nonsense-gimmick toys, brimming with a healthy dose of nostalgia. I love Hasbro all over again for treating us with this line.

Might have to re-watch the old series 3 episodes feat. Octane. :D

In the Te Awamutu Warehouse there are two new carded ROTF transformers. Bumblebee and a triple changer Soundwave. He changes from a space vehicle to a "satelite" to the robot mode. The satelite mode does not look that good to me, it is the top half of the robot with the lower half of the spaceship.

Wow, long time no sightings in this thread. Saw the Soundwave RPM, the one that looks like Animated Soundwave, at Farmers in the city :D Looks kinda nifty

I saw the otherday at Te Awamutu Toyworld/Paper + a couple of the Power Core TFs. They are the Combaticon team and the Aerobot team. They look cool, but I cannot afford to get them.

Yes, I meant Paper Plus, just up from the movie theatre.

Central warehouse = the usual shelf warmers from HFTD.
Toyworld = Silverbolt and Onslaught (universe) still! and a demolisher (movie)
Hillcrest warehouse = HFTD and Generations shelf warmers, and one generations megatron.
The Base warehouse = the same stuff again. Mega disappointed.
Kmart = I'm pretty sure they must be going out of toys, because they had sod all of anything.
Either the buyers of transformers in Hamilton are plenty full or its a vacuum of awesome toy availability.

Just picked up a DOTM The Ark playset from Chartwell/Westfields Farmers. 20% off. Came to $51 from $65. There's 3 left last I saw. Good hunting.

Miss Sam and I did New Year's in Hamilton and just arrived back tonight. Checked out The Base yesterday and today. The Warehouse was truly plundered, I saw only a couple of Deluxe Optimus and those Stealth Force F1s. Toyworld was similarly bear with one Deluxe Mudflap and some Bees, and the only items of note at Farmers were a couple of Cannon Force Ironhides.

If you watch Titanic backwards, It is a heart warming tale of a ship which jumps out of the water & saves lots of drowning people.
