Show Case Forum

Postby jalbert009 » Tue Oct 13, 2009 5:08 pm

Hi there! I was looking at some other TF forums and one had a SHOW CASE forum where people got to Show pictures of their collections. I was just wondering if we could have one here to. I dont have a large collection myself but i just thought that it would be cool to see other peoples collections. :)

In a way it would be sensible to have a separate forum just for showing off your collections. As it would have very little thread activity (basically anything but threads on collections would be off-topic), and the recent updates will jump to the top.

Everything Else on the other hand is quite a broad topic.

This idea should only be implimented if there are NO comments in the thread - its a pain in the ass trawling through pages and pages of small talk just to find collection pics

Yeah thats an option or people could just always be required to update the first post when adding pics to the thread (D) (D)

Well, several ways to go about it, but I yeah I agree that discussion amongst members about the collection should be kept separate. That would be the forum's main taboo.

New posts could be reserved for the thread creator to update the collection, either by adding new pics per post or to post an update and edit the first post with the new images.

Yeah. maybe the moderator can restrict responses to the thread from other people thus only new updates to the collection from the creator of thread bumps the thread up. 8)

I hope what i typed made sense.
