CAPTCHA for New Registrations

I think the forum needs CAPTCHA (Write the word from the picture) for New Registrations as a security measure to hopefully stop SPAM bots. As you can see from the current spam bot invasion just deleting the account doesn't stop them coming back.

This sounds like a good idea. There have been a couple of spambots in quick succession over the past few days.

Maybe with a new owner this will be looked at, been suggested many times in the past.
