Mailbox size?

Postby s4turn » Sat May 08, 2010 11:51 am

is it possible to have the pm box made a little bigger? only carries 55 messages? which is the default setting

could this be increased?
I have cleaned mine up already, just thought id mention it? maybe to bring it out to 100 or so?
its no big deal I suppose, but thought this would be worth a try if possible :)

i think this is found in the admin control panel (A)

The issue is, the boards already use up a fair bit of disk space so if everyone gets a big increase to 100, we'd go over disk-space allowance. I'll have a look into it but realistically i'd only really be able to get it up around an extra 5 messages or so...

I have had this problem in the past as well, but surly text messages don't take up much space?

Could we save space in other ways? maybe discourage the hosting of images directly on the boards instead of using photobuket etc?

I use this good firefox plug in to make uploading quicker

i was toying with the idea of upping all pics to a tfnz photobucket account if the owners agree to it. Collection photos etc. That would save most of the bandwidth
